Should Child Soldiers Be Granted Amnesties?

A child soldier is haunted by nightmares where he must make a life-or-death choice. - Born In Battle

Workers are grouped into small microenterprise instead, typically obeying Dunbar's number as a peak, although many microenterprise are way smaller. All workers are paid a subsistence base salary, whether or not they're currently part of a microenterprise although I assume not working for long enough gets you fired. Where the majority of worker remuneration comes from, on the other hand, is via a big data system that calculates the amount of value each worker is adding to a project, as well as the guidelines of the group organization where the head can be replaced by the workers.

Or, in other words, each worker's surplus value is tallied up, and each worker is paid a portion of the surplus value, with some of the rest going to the enterprise and the owners, of which the Qingdao city government is a substantial stakeholder Haier is a State-Owned Enterprise as a result. However, let's approach it from the left-side of the problem. Worker alienation from labor as identified by Marx is a problem that both the Japanese and Chinese have attempted to address. With the Japanese, the "salariman" ethos and the notion of "corporate samurai" was a way to build solidarity and identification of the employee with the firm.

We obviously aren't interested in it because it's either bourgeois or feudal. Haier, on the other hand, is doing it the other way, by effectively setting themselves up as a platform for communes, where each worker gets voting rights against their immediate boss, and the value they generate is constantly monitored by a bot and their labor directly transfers to their own value.

Or, to put it in a way that'd make sure no one ever adopts their model, a Chinese SOE split themselves up into tiny communes. Moreover, the idea of distributed microenterprises, who are expected to make contracts and deals with other microenterprises, is fundamentally a Maoist idea in that it favors decentralized control. And Haier is still an SOE. What's frightening about Haier is that Haier is claiming that their organizational mechanism has made them tremendously agile small teams have no bureaucracy , and has boosted profits substantially. They've made multiple overseas acquisitions and implemented their system there, most recently of note, GE Appliances, who is expected to, within the next 3 years, obtain the status of market leader in their industry.

Here's some basic references; I admit my write-up is lazy. Since Harvard Business School etc are hailing this as a next paradigm of capitalism, is this actually yet another way to destroy capitalism from the inside, by developing communes that are fully competitive with traditional capitalist firms? In with covid and the stonk market dip people thought it would be the final crisis. A beautiful country that I would love to visit some time and a beacon of civilization. But Trotskyism is not restricted to formal membership of such sects. The Frankfurt School was broadly Trotskyist, as was Deconstruction and Postmodernism, even though these academic fashions are criticised at the World Socialist Web Site. Those purists define a "Trotskyist" as one who acknowledges Trotsky over Lenin as the true leader of the revolution.

On the basis of a broader definition as one who sides with Trotsky rather than Stalin in their split, and promotes Trotsky's "ultraleft" cultural revolution rather than Stalin's conservative "reaction", the Feminist, Gay, Green and Black liberation movements have substantial Trotskyist ancestry. On the other hand, most factions of Trotskyists support them, and try to lead them to their own agenda. It was written in , when Trotsky was living in Norway, and was first published in The English translation is by Max Eastman. Trotsky here describes the attack on all tradition launched by the Bolsheviks, and Stalin's reversal of its extremes.

I hope that many Trotskyist sympathisers will be shocked to see how extreme he really was - something meaningful to us in the West now that our own family life has been shattered by the same forces. His campaign is ironic because his own family life, with his second wife Natalya Sedova, was quite normal, as was that of Karl Marx. The only unusual thing is that Trotsky's son Leon Sedoff took his mother's surname. How do you like your Trotsky - hot or cold? The Revolution Betrayed is hot - a fiery manifesto, and the author comes across as a fearful warrior wreaking social havoc; one is glad that he was contained. Yet his account of his time in Norway is cold - it reads like a traveller's diary, and I cannot help feeling sympathy for him.

Suppose a normal average Joe, a middle-class American maybe confronts a socialist. Its killed billions! Look at this article from the Washington Post, that's a certainly credible news site. You use everything you can to debunk that. You even use that one argument about capitalism killing more than communism in a lifetime. Are you telling me the Holodomor isn't real? That Mao didn't genocide millions of innocent people? Communists killed more than Hitler tenfold!

You talk about the Ukrainian famine, the Chinese revolution, you even use data from certified academic historians. But then.. They're probably propaganda anyways. Did you know that communists suppress free speech and lies about its data and statistics? And yet again, you try to debunk this, but do you see the pattern? Reaction after reaction, claim after claim, lies after lies. It's virtually endless, especially if the reactionary has believed in his heart that communism is an evil ideology, a true evil, that starves and destroys nations.

Now the question is— what can we do about these kinds of circumstances? It happens all the time on the Internet and even in real life. The socialists are ALWAYS the one on the defense, never on the offense, and even when they do go on the offense; it's called "whataboutism. But won't that be bad in certain situations, like when there's an audience? When do we decide to stop or pursue? Do we just accept that material conditions will change a person's mind more than rational debate?

A third way. Neither left nor right. Why aren't you faggots on board again? The dialectic is in motion, it's time to hop on. The main one is one we can all see — the current two-party duopoly is not working. Neither side is able to meaningfully solve problems, so we all get angrier and angrier. Booklet here with a simple question, I've repeatedly heard that the failing rate of profit as an indicator of Capitalism's inevitable end, or at the very least it's decline into total barbarism.

To be specific, I've been told that once this graph hits "zero" some companies will still be profitable, but Capitalism as a "whole" will not be. This is purportedly caused by the contradictions of Capitalism and the inherent class conflicts created by the dichotomies between Capitalists making products to expensive for workers to afford or the natural antagonism created by workers wanting higher wages and Capitalists wanting higher profits. Is there a global rate or do we only care about America's because it's the global financial hegemony? Is it a measure of profits product sales revenue minus expenses for all companies?

How is it measured and by whom? Starmer is trying to purge the left, the left is fighting back. Who will win? Nobody knows, but regardless, it will be a great spectacle to watch. Faced with the Devastation created by the pandemic, the working class is becoming increasingly militant around the world, especially in the US. While the pro-capitalist unions are working to suppress these struggles, ICFI is working to give the leadership by building the international alliance of rank-and-file committees. The Thread Who will be the world superpowers by ? Once military stalemate has been achieved, will USA crumble as a power due to shitty public infrastructure and neglected radical youth? Will nations with a 'blank canvas' begin to overtake them? Now what about the normie's middle aged "middle class" suburban dad?

Why is this demo so conservative and what can be done about it? Like if there is no legitimate form of non-universal ownership in regards to land how does one group hold any greater claim to land then any other group? How is land "stolen" from a group who did not "own" it themselves??? More over, if there really is NOTHING material that defines the cherokee or any other native group from any other larger or western group how then do you define between the group which did the supposed stealing and the group which was stolen from??

When you look at the situation both in Israel right now and apartheid era South Africa you can see a lot of similarities: an unpopular government rife with human rights abuses that is situated far away from the rest of the Western world in a region that is entirely hostile to its existence, moreover even its supporters have gotten more demoralized over the years as they are confronted with reality of the situation they are in and the abuses carried out by their governments and even in the US, the cornerstone of Zionist support outside of Israel it has become a mainstream political opinion to oppose Zionism and the government of Israel and the US government has been showing much less interest in intervention in the Middle East in recent times, just like how SA lost the support of America and the West due to the decline of white supremacy and the loss of interest in intervention in Africa to contain communism after the fall of the USSR.

The thing that is unclear if that is to be the case is how exactly would the government of Israel be brought down? Israel is an ultra-religious country armed with nukes and absolutely not hesitant to violently put down any serious opposition to its rule, is it realistic that Palestinian rebels could finally defeat the Israeli government after so many decades? Could international condemnation and sanctions, even by the US, be the catalyst for some sort of peaceful transition of power to a Palestinian or unitary government like what happened with Nelson Mandela? Only time will tell. We scientific STEM socialism here. Eliminating inequality : Magnet link: magnet:?

Some threads on the catalog are 10 months old Does it feel like all our momentum died when Trump left office? Like it's even bad for Euro lefties. Was it all just propped up by a mix of a DNC botnet and a few leftists who hated Trump enough to get involved in politics until he was gone? I've seen the far-right gain on Twitter too which is blackpilling as fuck because that is our space. Can you achieve your dreams via socialist style planning in what you do with your time and what results are expected. He didn't even have to work with the Social Democrats after winning. Hitler banned everyone else that he promised to work with and killed anyone else that disagreed in the Night of the Long Knives. Lenin The revolution of came as a surprise to everyone, although Russia had been going to it for a long time.

For example, the American historian Richard Pipes considers it a prologue to the student unrest of The Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Izvolsky believed that the tsarist regime began to collapse even under Alexander III, and the publicist Mark Vishnyak counted the end of the autocracy from the mids, when Alexander II stopped the Great Reforms and decided to" freeze " the country. Russia and the ruling dynasty could only be saved from revolution by the introduction of a constitutional monarchy.

But the last Romanovs, in an effort to preserve the unshakable autocratic foundations of their power, eventually lost everything and led the country to the catastrophe of On top of this, there are several interesting connections to these operations and operatives and Zionism. The purpose of these operations, as are the purpose of all CIA operations, is to suppress and destroy the real movement that abolishes the present state of things, the mass movement organised workers, the socialist and communist movement. What follows is a series of links, references and thoughts which document this feature of capitalist hegemony. Our parents aren't falling for hustle culture and we aren't potatoes. As an Autistic person this annoys me.

Or do you only care about working-class politics because it materially benefits you in particular? Seriously, this fucking retard makes some premises that are "kinda" interesting IMO, but holy fuck every fucking take he has is fucking bullshit. I don't know if I'm mentally disabled tbh probably, I sometimes watch his videos, and watching them ironically is equally as retarded , but sometimes, out of morbid curiosity, I click on his fucking videos and get a fucking aneurysm out of the sheer stupidity. Yes, that's an actual screenshot. Watch this and surprise youselves with his stupidity. Is it all eglin air force base's doing and other glowing bots? It's beyond even hating "muh ccp" you see outright anti-Chinese racism and apologists for Japanese WW2 war crimes like Rape of Nanjing.

Covid has made it even worse. I feel like this bullshit is manufacturing consent for a war with China, with asians probably taking the place of muslims as the hated minority in the west. He was an 'anonymous' hacktivist in the early s. Just goes to show the feds never forget. It's a retelling of his own, admittedly minor role in this sage and his arrest for hacking from which he's been a fugitive for years. But now, the feds got him in mexico. Yet the worldview of Marxists and woke leftists alike is fundamentally primitive.

It is the economic view of the world that evolved in our brains before the development of the modern economy. During this period of evolution the economy was simple, with little specialization except by age and sex, no economic growth, no technological change, limited trade, little capital, and warfare between neighboring tribes. If one person had access to more food or other goods, or greater access to females, it was likely because of expropriation from others. Frequent warfare encouraged xenophobia. They taught that specialization of labor was valuable, that capital was productive, and that labor and capital could work together to increase income.

They also showed that property rights needed protection, that members of other tribes or groups could cooperate through trade, that wealth could be created with the proper incentives, and that the creation of wealth would benefit everyone in a society, not only the wealthy. Most important, they showed that a complex economy could work with little or no central direction. For him, conflict rather than cooperation between labor and capital defined the economy. The collapse of the Soviet Union, the largest and most expensive social-science experiment ever conducted, proved Smith right and Marx wrong. One of their major errors is thinking that the world is zero-sum.

That assumption drives identity politics, which sees, among other things, an intrinsic conflict between blacks and whites. They should recognize them as productive entrepreneurs whose innovations benefit us all. Changing tax laws to soak the rich makes sense with a labor theory of value, but not with a sophisticated understanding of continual investment and technological change. But if policies that penalize saving and investing and that involve excessive government control are adopted, social capital, wealth, and real income will decline. If we bow to this primitive ideology, there will be increased racial animosity and conflict, slow economic growth, and fewer inventions. He held several senior positions in the Reagan Administration. Feel like your work, being exploited by porkie, can't be used for yourself? Have huge shitlists, lots of vendettas and revenge fantasies you can't fulfil yet? Joseph Stalin was there. Joseph Stalin believes in you. So believe in Joseph Stalin. He was dedicated to self-improvement through daily study. Then he LAUNCHED and saw through a bloody socialist remaking of the entire former empire, presided over a victory in the greatest war in human history, and took the Soviet Union to the epicentre of global affairs. More than for any other historical figure, even Gandhi or Churchill, a biography of Stalin… eventually comes to approximate a history of the world.

The apparatus created him". DO IT. Post good takes here, especially news also twitter, instagram, tiktok welcome. We all know Marx himself decried the proto-Marxism that began to flourish with the convening of the Internationale. Similarly, we may appropriate this revolutionary emancipatory perspective — not adhering directly to Marx as the figurehead of Marxism, as Marxism itself is a human project first and foremost; something to be contributed to through the actions, work, and thought of the revolutionary class struggle along the course of history.

It exists not simply as a materialist view of the world, it is a conscious expansion of self-awareness, of the ability of workers, historically the most exploited class within the capitalist system, to form their own path through history and create something concrete, something revolutionary that will stand out as a node within the fabric of time, but will never, under any circumstances, exist on the premise of perpetually reinforcing the old order. It is revolutionary, not only politically, but in abstraction before it is formed into creation.

It cannot be argued that the revolution as a whole has failed. Beyond the failures of the present lie the potential for class struggle later. Communism, therefore, is not simply an aesthetic — this is why Stalinism and Juche are inherently opposed to Marxism, and why Socialist Realism the aesthetic fetishism of Stalinist ideology is similarly counter-revolutionary. This is because of its sharp constraints of free thought behind conception, and its extreme fetishism of a particular, rigid conception of history. This is why Constructivism was revolutionary, with Russian artists playing an integral role in the revolution, in the molding of early Soviet society alongside Lenin's revolutionary theories — constraints were lessened in order for development to continue.

This is also why Soviet nostalgia, despite admittedly being fascinating on some nostalgic level, is not Marxist. Revolution is ongoing and is not meant to end after the cessation of the state — this includes the post-socialist East. I also posit that Dadaism, unlike the movements of its children, was an integral part in the development of Marxist revolutionary theory.

Neo-Dadaism and much of the postmodernist perspectives in its wake are reactionary in essence or, at the very least, ineffectual due in particular to the focal point of its art being fascinated principally with the object in lieu of the conscious expression, the transmutation of thought into form behind it. Art, like all human creation and economic production, must come to fruition through the theories themselves being tied into the ever-expanding fabric of time and developed upon, instead of simply scrapped and disregarded as outdated, useless, irrelevant.

It was created not by some one class, but by the entire society, by all the classes of the society, by the efforts of hundreds of generations. It was created for the satisfaction of the needs not of one particular class, but of the entire society, of all the classes of the society. Precisely for this reason it was created as a single language for the society, common to all members of that society, as the common language of the whole people. Hence the functional role of language, as a means of intercourse between people, consists not in serving one class to the detriment of other classes, but in equally serving the entire society, all the classes of society. This in fact explains why a language may equally serve both the old, moribund system and the new, rising system; both the old base and the new base; both the exploiters and the exploited.

A language therefore lives immeasurably longer than any base or any superstructure. This in fact explains why the rise and elimination not only of one base and its superstructure, but of several bases and their corresponding superstructures, have not led in history to the elimination of a given language, to the elimination of its structure and the rise of a new language with a new stock of words and a new grammatical system. The superstructure is not directly connected with production, with man's productive activity. It is connected with production only indirectly, through the economy, through the base. The superstructure therefore reflects changes in the level of development of the productive forces not immediately and not directly, but only after changes in the base, through the prism of the changes wrought in the base by the changes in production.

This means that the sphere of action of the superstructure is narrow and restricted. Language, on the contrary, is connected with man's productive activity directly, and not only with man's productive activity, but with all his other activity in all his spheres of work, from production to the base, and from the base to the superstructure. For this reason language reflects changes in production immediately and directly, without waiting for changes in the base. For this reason the sphere of action of language, which embraces all fields of man's activity, is far broader and more comprehensive than the sphere of action of the superstructure.

More, it is practically unlimited. And language, directly reflecting these needs, does replenish its vocabulary with new words, and perfects its grammatical system. Idealism is central to the revolutionary struggle and the capacity of humanity to create thought that is central to history. Marxism is an analytical and phenomenological lens, an ongoing evolutionary development, from which human progress can be honed and the limits of our understanding of reality can finally be reached. Bordigists GTFO. I had a discussion with a friend after being frustrated with his conflations of dogmatic materialism and orthodox views of history with the broad Marxist analytical lens.

I was able to convince him that humanity is interwoven with the fabric of history — all thought conceived before the development of political economy leading to the Hegellian dialectic and eventually Marx and Engels was without conscious bearing on its position in the eternal development of the human mind. Still remaining forever ensnared due to the precise lack of agency, lack of freedom, lack of power, afforded by the owners of the means of production.

Workers are able to avoid the reactionary trappings of the past by exploring them in detail through historical analysis, free from ideology, only through a Marxist lens. In this sense, Marx himself was far from a Marxist, even in our evolved conceptions of Communism and the material world — Leninism and Maoism are in this sense Marxist without the progenitors of their thought being strictly students of Marx — this is especially true of post-anarchism Mao. It is also why we must continue to develop Marxism as an analytical and political lens, rather than repeating the same orthodoxy of the Soviet Union under Stalin, of China post-Cultural Revolution, of the reformists in Hungary and the cultural fascists in Cambodia and Korea. Postmodern life is a developmental stage in human history, in our conception of consciousness and in phenomenology.

And it, eventually, will be destroyed — we must do this by our own hands, not simply as a united proletariat, but as Marxists and revolutionary thinkers. There is no returning to the forms of Communism that united workers around the globe in the twentieth century. There is only the eternal possibility of revolution, the success of human ingenuity and the dialectic. Only from keeping the idea of Communism, of Marxism as a whole alive, can we have a glimpse of this future unrestrained by the gross burden of capitalism, as history held hostage by the imperial bourgeoisie and of the shadow of the historical colossi. Communism can only be reached through the enduring democratic revolution of thought, of artistic creation, and of a truly democratic world spirit — I believe a party is only one way to organize a revolution, but it begins first and foremost as a thought, an idea of a better tomorrow.

That can only be achieved through the continual development of revolutionary thought. Marxism's development rests with communal engagement and discussion, debate, and a decentralized, yet concerted effort to become not masters of time, but masters of our own destinies within time. There is a gap between the revolutionary thinking of non-Marxist thinkers like Marx and Engels, and "Marxist" thinkers like Lenin, Stalin and Mao. We must take charge of our own role in development by becoming self-aware of our positions within history and decide the path which history will take.

Have cut back a lot on shitposting though still have a lot of work left. Go outside; experience life. Why do they vote for people who fuck them over? It is obviously a very portent symbol in the minds liberals, anti-communists of other sorts, and maybe even normies as a concrete lol example of the failure of socialism. The Berlin Wall already fell! I have heard several people here talk loosely that the wall was an anti-fascist barrier and that its building was justified but since i never saw that argument expanded upon so i was wondering if we could have a thread about it.

And also. Is it worth joining up? What do you guys do? Is there any community, any actual communists? There's no real communist party in my area so it would be the DSA or nothing for me. Or a European country? IMO East asian countries are the most late stage version of capitalism because they are basically LARPing s urban burgerland aesthetic but in an extremely exaggerated, megastructure type way. I might sound like a socdem but I personally have enjoyed it for the last year and a half. Food stamps, social security, stimulus checks etc. What is leftypols opinion on it? They are such a small minority in the United States, there being only. It seems like the right puts more of their effort complaining about them than the things that should actually matter to them.

Are we witnessing an ideology fall so far from grace? Today they should occupy the place they always should have. Due to the apparent tolerance and support of the state and federal government for paramilitary groups and militias, the situation, as the latest images from Chiapas show, is increasingly out of control. Kidnappings, evictions and armed ambushes against civilians are increasing by the day. Critics say that three days of voting complicates the already difficult task of election monitoring to stop fraud and that online voting is at best non-transparent.

PayPal currently provides full access to users in Israel and illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank, but for years - and despite repeated requests, earlier campaigns and pressure from shareholders - has refused to offer the same in the occupied Palestinian territories. Mr Banat died in mysterious circumstances soon after he was taken into custody by government forces in June. Let's get to the bottom of identity politics, bane of the radical left and blockade to normie socialism. ITT post about idpol and anti-idpol.

Post literature, effortposts, infographics, etc. Post about what idpol is, the history of idpol, idpol today, the problems with it, and how to deal with it. The point of this thread is to develop our discourse on the topic. Currently the meaning of idpol and many people's understanding of it is extremely nebulous. This is a problem for us in addressing it in general. It is a problem for the mods appropriately moderating it. It's a problem for users knowing what posts are good. Most importantly it's an obstacle to people knowing what kind of theory is sensible and based versus what is idpozzed and cringe. Most of us will agree that idpol is a problem the left deals with to some degree more or less online or in real life.

It is both an inferior understanding of politics and a way of baiting people. What we sometimes don't agree on is what idpol is and how it works. That's what this thread is for: fleshing out our discourse so that we can better combat liberalism and other right wing politics and promote communism. What do you guys think about them? Are they really socialist after all? And is it a manifestation of the phrase "you don't have to be poor to become a socialist"? These losers will drag the labor movement down for shitty nerd movies that are all the same. In addition, it must adhere to a power-usage cap, which cuts the capacity of the factory by about one-third as a result.

Beckham anticipates U. Coal prices have surged because of a shortage of domestic coal supplies, made worse by import cuts from Australia and Mongolia. That has prompted power stations to reduce output to avoid losses because of official caps on their selling prices. The surge has hit output at European factories and household energy bills. It is also fueling anxiety in Europe and the U. The French government said this week it would block any increase in household gas and electricity bills until the spring.

He added that the resulting supply shock will likely further push up global inflation, especially in developed markets such as the U. A global shortage of semiconductors this year has already hit car makers and other industries. Traffic lights were even turned off. Factories in manufacturing regions were ordered to cut back on operating hours or even shut down for a week. In the southern cities Guangzhou and Shenzhen, officials canceled lighting show extravaganzas during the weeklong National Day holiday, which began on Friday. Participants were asked not to bring their cellphones to the meeting with Mr.

Xi pledged that China would strive to reach peak carbon emissions before , a broad goal that has flowed into wide-ranging efforts to curb energy consumption. The mission weighed on production of Chinese coal, already increasingly intermittent because of a spate of accidents at mining sites. In comparison, coal supply has fluctuated between shrinkages in some months and low single-digit increases in others. In mid-September, these provinces began to target some high-energy industries in their power rationing. The southwestern province of Yunnan, which produces hydropower, has been struggling with droughts throughout the year.

Han, the vice premier, has ordered officials to control excessive consumption from high energy-consuming industries such as aluminum, steel, cement and petrochemicals. Ramping up gas and coal supplies are short-term solutions but Beijing would need to think about diversifying its energy sources long-term, he said. About two weeks ago, the local government began sending daily messages to the factory manager to announce whether they are allowed to operate that day. Electricity demand dropped sharply after the global financial crisis that began in Beckham of Simple Modern to evaluate the viability of moving some production back to the U. Explain the massive increases in private enterprise, the dismantling of the commune system in the countryside and the return of market mechanisms.

Some people will say this is just pragmatism, attacking anyone who questions it as dogmatic. But what is the reality? Results in the capital were reported later than in other regions, with the final tally changing dramatically once electronic votes had been counted, tipping the balance in favour of the United Russia candidate in a number of areas. The Times of India newspaper, and then Reuters, reported on Saturday that a CCI investigation had found Google abused the dominant position of its Android operating system in India, using its "huge financial muscle" to illegally hurt competitors.

Kurdish activists have been protesting every Wednesday since January 15, gathering around the tent of resistance they have set up in front of the UN. On Thursday, state-certified nurses and operating room nurses went on strike across the country, taking their cause to the streets and calling for greater recognition from the government. Is this a precursor to fascism? Will the schizos be allowed to overthrow liberal democracies at the first sign of class conscious workers?

Are the schizo facebook-Karens the face of future fascism? What do petite bourgeois politics look like outside of the US? Are they marked by similar hysteria? You send orders to be realized by actual workers. The dangers you face is lack of natural light, carpal tunnel, and listening to annoying coworkers, yet you make much more than the people who give their blood and sweat and face real dangers. You have no stake in the revolution and your life would get significantly worse if capitalism was to crumble. You're the barrier between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie.

You are the PMC. Think about it. Your thoughts? Specifically used for those who believe that the creation of a socialist, Marxist, or anarchist system will inevitably bring about gender equality and that therefore no measures need to be taken other than the destruction of the hierarchy imposed by class. Literally true. And no, i'm not a sexist, lol. Much more energy is used to fight the right then to advance class struggle or to fight against capitalism. Also a lot of students join the left only to fight the right, and don't give a shit about class struggle. Why does it seem like the left is turning into soly a "anti-right movement" instead of somersetting that offers an alternative to the current world. Human beings are destroying the planet.

Yet the world doesn't seem to realize that we are ruining ourselves. Instead of paying attention to the damage humans have caused, people focus on trivial matters such as whether Barack Obama's birth certificate is fake. Meanwhile, climate changes continue to accelerate, typhoons increase in strength, natural disasters become increasingly frequent, and tsunamis destroy coastlines and kill thousands of innocent civilians. Why aren't people panicking? Because it's convenient. Life is cheap; we spend money frivolously, buy frivolous products, consume frivolous entertainment, and take part in frivolous wars. Money allows us to ignore certain issues, allowing companies to keep producing GMOs, polluting rivers, poisoning oceans, and putting millions of tons of garbage into landfills.

The governments of developed nations allow corporations to dump poisonous substances in waterways, forests, deserts, and parks. Our leaders collude with businesses and banks to create bubbles in financial markets. Politicians enrich themselves through various schemes, including lobbying, bribery, tax evasion, graft, and insider trading. Corporations advertise heavily in order to convince consumers to purchase brand names rather than generic items. Failing to comply with regulations leads to fines and prison sentences. Governments suppress freedom of speech and expression, censor websites, arrest dissidents, limit press coverage, and monitor citizens. Wealthy individuals hoard possessions, causing prices to skyrocket.

Many wealthy people use their wealth to influence public policy and gain power. Rich people donate large sums of money to political campaigns, buying votes with campaign contributions. Wealthier people hire lobbyists who bribe legislators to pass laws favorable to wealthy business owners. Some powerful men abuse women sexually, physically, verbally, emotionally, psychologically, and financially. Other rich men steal billions of dollars from needy people. Corporate executives plunder shareholders, investors, workers, customers, suppliers, and taxpayers.

Billionaires exploit loopholes in the legal system in order to avoid taxes, evade prosecution, and escape conviction. Bankers gamble away trillions of dollars creating artificial bubbles in stocks, bonds, currencies, commodities, housing, and credit cards. The bankers also manipulate interest rates, exchange rates, and foreign currency values to cause inflation and depress wages. The average middle class family cannot afford health insurance. Millions of Americans lack adequate healthcare, forcing them to choose between medicine and rent.

Poor families often face eviction after medical emergencies, homelessness, hunger, and unemployment. The unemployed receive little assistance despite having jobs. Homelessness continues to grow, displacing tens of thousands of people every year. Tens of millions of working Americans struggle to find affordable childcare for their children. Rising rents push low income families farther apart from affluent communities. Increasing numbers of college graduates graduate without job prospects. Young people in major cities report experiencing extreme stress, anxiety, depression, feelings of hopelessness, loneliness, alienation, and despair. To survive, many people turn to drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, pornography, prostitution, illegal activity, crime, violence, self harm, suicide, and even murder.

We have entered a period where death becomes commonplace. Humanity is dying out. Humans are becoming extinct. The human species may cease to exist within 50 years. This isn't fiction. But first, let's talk. Let's open your eyes. Open your minds. Open your hearts. And then, let's act. Together, we can save ourselves. Ethiopia doesn't even exist, there is no "Ethiopian" ethnic group, it's as fake as all those small German or Italian states, or Switzerland or Belgium.

The people we westerners historically called "Ethiopians" for centuries where Tigrayan and Amharic peoples. These are the people historically who were Eastern Orthodox Christians, while the east was Islamic and the south and west were tribal African religions. The next phase of decolonization should be the struggle for the liberation of the African peoples from their former colonial borders, Ethiopia just happens to be a weird exception to this as those borders just happened be drawn up by the native Africans.

The current situation in Ethiopia and the civil war going on is a direct result of this. Basically my argument is African needs to go though it's own "nationalist" phase like Europe in the context of nationalism from the 18th and 19th century that set the stage for capitalist bourgeoisie revolution. What drives this entitlement. Would the French Revolution qualify as liberalist, or too diverse to properly classify as many were seeking to become aristocrats themselves? Were there many attempts prior to the western settlement of North America? Isaac's Cathedral. Around noon, journalists and guests of the celebration, which was called significant in the Russian Imperial House, began to flock to St. Isaac's Square in the center of St. On the approaches to the cathedral building, the young people were met by a crowd of journalists and onlookers.

Guards of the Preobrazhensky Regiment stood in two rows at the doors with naked saber blades, as well as flower girls who helped the bride cope with the long train of her dress. The first to arrive at the wedding place was Georgy Mikhailovich's mother, Maria Vladimirovna, who calls herself the Grand Duchess, Empress of All Russia and head of the house. Later, Romanov himself arrived unaccompanied. Rebecca Bettarini's car was the last to arrive at St. She walked up the steps of the building through the main entrance, accompanied by her father, Roberto Bettarini.

The wedding was an international event, as it brought together representatives of the royal houses of Europe, businessmen, politicians, cultural and art figures, as well as the Russian Orthodox Church. Some of their high-ranking guests and royals have never been to St. Petersburg before. In total, there were about one and a half thousand people of nobility and other guests at the celebration. In the last few years, it has been Georgy Mikhailovich and Maria Vladimirovna who have dominated the Russian news agenda as the heirs of the Romanovs. Or were they on similar levels? If the Europeans slaughtered the indigenous people for economic interests, why didn't the indigenous people slaughter the Europeans to protect the same resources? Shouldn't they have just the same level of economic interest, but in a defensive position?

Boys I am hearing a new global financial crisis has started in China akin to Are we really looking at the new great recession or is it nonsense? China may try to prevent it with a billion dollar bailout. If not what is the leftist answer to why this is. This is why espionage from foreign governments fails to get anything significant done or why governments around the world seemingly cant enforce the law on criminals past a certain distance away from cities.

According to eyewitnesses the fascist mob used thick chains, knives and even tasers, injuring at least three to four people before disappearing into the surrounding straits. A Berlin-based journalist, who would only identify himself as Mustafa, believes that there is collusion between Ankara and foreign intelligence services. About 8, supporters of Saied protested in central Tunis and a thousand others demonstrated in various cities around the country, according to local media outlets. It seems no grand sub-saharan nation ever developed like Europe or China, maybe except for Zimbabwe. Racists use this point to prove their views. Can historical materialism gives it 2 cents on this? I started going there recently because I like the openness of it and checking out the mushrooms and plants that grow there, but this time this old lady came and said, crossly, "I'm not responsible for what happens to you on this property.

Well damn it, there weren't any signs, and there was literally nothing on this grassy field but yet it was all hers anyway. Here I thought I had a nice place to go to because there aren't any parks nearby, but apparently I have pretty much just the street to walk on. And all these fuckin land developers have been tearing down all the trees in my area recently as well, with new shitty McHouses springing up everywhere. Yea that's what we need, more goddamn concrete and asphalt and just ripping up all the plants so all the air and scenery gets ruined, but hey!

At least it made a couple boomers more cash from all the residences that will be used as speculative instruments. Just build houses everywhere, fuck public spaces right? Eat up the whole world! The CIA is a nearly indefensible institution. They've committed some of the absolute worst atrocities of the last years. They have done absolutely nothing worth defending whatsoever since, well, ever. Most of all, for us, they are literally are worst enemy in the entire world. There is no organization more hostile to the material aims of leftism and leftist groups than the CIA.

Yet abolishing the CIA seems to be a pretty rarely put forward stance. Tons of libertarians support abolishing the federal reserve, enough so that it's considered an acceptable political stance in the states. Tons of people, huge amounts of people, support the abolition of ICE including I hope everyone here. They are a monstrous organization. There's even a substantial political movement to abolish the police, which would have seemed unthinkable ten years ago. There should be explicit anti-CIA activism. The existence of the CIA should be up for debate. I kept telling him I am ugly because I am 24 live with my parents am fat and lost my shit service job because of covid. He kept asking me why I am unattractive I guess thinking I am not, he non stop kept asking me why I wasn't having sex and relationships whist saying at 24 I should be having sex.

Did the boomer generation just go around fucking? Did the boomer generation not need to have a job and there own place to get Laid? Seriously why the fuck do boomers think you can just go around fucking girls despite life circumstances. He was acting like not having frequent sex at age 24 means seriously mentally ill. I have had sex with multiple girls but a dry spell for years and he knows this. How are boomers this fucking out of touch.

Is it a class issue and he doesn't understand me as he is a psychiatrist? I doubt this because he would see lots of lumpen proletariat clients. The entire first world Marxist community including myself are fucking autistic weird or a minority struggling on the fringes. The Truth is basically only some of the lumpen proletariat of the first world support communism and barely anyone from any other class does. Its up to the third world comrades which wage revolution today. If you haven't, it explains a lot. You don't want anything to happen that can harm your kids which as history has shown War and revolution don't make for the most stable societies. L , Japan's Marubeni Corp Will socialism solve the fact that women are sexually disgusted by sitting in the back seat of a car, running for the bus, tripping as you walk, politely ordering food, etc?

And what are the numerous similarities and differences between these states and do these states have a general developmental model that can apply for other countries or is it purely a east asia thing besides that what is the general consensus on Shimomuran economics. Also, him likening socialism and communism to nazism is completely retarded, he even contradicts himself in the book on the subject. What are you thoughts on this book? What are some criticism you have of it? Is planning really as rigid as Hayek pertains it to be?

I hate his constructed "ancient asian uncle" aura. I hate the vietnamese communists. See how they jumped ship. They are buddy-buddy with the Americans now. They are a sweatshopland now. How is that possible? If the war was so brutal as they told us. Sure, betrayal is a thing, but it's not possible, not this soon. The people that fought in that war are alive, the people that died in that war are alive, that war is alive, it just happened. Yet they don't hate the Americans, they love them. And I came to the conclusion that my perspective was wrong. For the Viet Cong the Americans were never an enemy, they were adversaries in a war of conquest they won, an obstacle. So why not be friends now? And why were you even here anyway?

In fact, they never saw themselves as a part of a global force countering colonialism; that was good PR. They must have been really confused by the Chinese, the Koreans, the Soviets and all the people in the world supporting them and rooting for them, they probably made fun of them. Communism was a vessel for national chauvinism, both materially and spiritually. They are fascist, Viet Nam is literally the Strasserite strawman radlibs poke at, and, quite ironically, the Strasserites are always happy to use Ho as a legitimizing authority. One can even excuse such a backward subjectivity if it brings good results in the objective reality, but you can see now that subjectivity is the objective reality.

The gang of Hanoi sacrificed millions of their people for their petit-grandeure. They brag about it. And they are friends with the Americans. They probably respect them, their boldness. Predators compliment predators. And the real reson why they don't hate them is that they have no reason to do so. I mean, they can't take their boats and go conquer Florida, there's no point then in hating Americans, they are not Khmers. I read that the Vietnamese accuse Pol Pot of the killing of , Cham one must always forget every sense of proportion when dealing with Pol Pot. The sinister aspect is that if the Vietnamese accuse Pol Pot of haveing killed , Cham, they themselves probably did it. The Vietnamese killed half a million of Cham; just finishing the job. But it wasn't a betrayal.

It was supposed to go this way. I learned recently that Stalin didn't like Ho did the man ever missed once? And it makes sense to me: he was never a communist, but a petty bourg nationalist, he pretty much admits this, moved by national resentment. There were many of this kind of people lurking around the Third Internationale in its first years - most of them shot afterwhile - dishonest opportunist aspiring warlords parasiting the body of the proletarian revolution.

Sure, but wouldn't the most honest, principled, advanced communists and anti-colonialists be the first to die in a situation like that? The two leaders discussed the release of more political prisoners, the institutionalisation of political reform and the rule of law, and ending ethnic conflict in Myanmar—the two governments agreed to sign a bilateral trade and investment framework agreement on 21 May A regional spinoff of the annual World Economic Forum in Davos , Switzerland, the summit was held on 5—7 June and attended by 1, participants, including 10 heads of state, 12 ministers and 40 senior directors from around the world.
